PUNARPRATHISHTA OF SHREE NAGADEVATA AT MOOLA NAGASTHANA OF HATTANGADIKARS of VATSYA GOTRA On 17th June 2009 .

(Poorvanga Karyakrams from 22nd May) As advised, all rituals should commence with a prior visit to the following Thirthakshetras for offering Prayers and seeking blessings by Members of the Hattiangadikar families. For this Thirthayatra scheduled from 22 to 25th of May 2009, interested Hattiangadikars may please inform Hon Secretary Ashok Kundapur (Cell:09880305526, or Email : arkundapur@yahoo.com, on or before Tuesday 19th May 2009, so as to make it convenient for him to organize vehicle and make other required arrangements
Friday May 22, 2009: Evening: Offering Prayers at Moola Naga Sthana at Hattiangadi, Shree Shankarnarayana Temple and then at all other Temples at Hattiangadi, with night halt at Shankarnarayana Temple, Hattiangadi. Saturday May 23, 2009: Morning: To Ankola (Kulavis who wish to join directly at Ankola may join the group at Ankola on 23rd May 2009 by 10.00 am) – After pooja and Prasad Bhojan to proceed to Shirali. Same day Offer Pooja at Shirali Math and after Prasad Bhojan the congregation will move to Udupi for night halt. The Yajman and his Dharmapatni and one or two more members will leave for Subrahmanya Kshetras the same night, stay there to perform Ashleysha Bali early morning. Others will join them- leaving Udupi after breakfast by about 5 am to reach Subrahmanya - to offer prayers and pooja. After collecting Thirtha and Moolamruthika, the congregation may visit other Thirthakshetras enroute Hattiangadi. )
From Friday 7th June to Monday 22nd June 2009 Punarpratishta poorvang karyakramas like Prayaschita Homa, Sarpasanskar, Aghora Home, Yamaraj Homa, Prethochatana, Panchambirtha Abhishekha for the Golden Naga Bimba, Navak Pradhan Homa, Bimba Shudhi, Jaladhivasa, Ashleysha Bali, Tila Homa, Narayana Bali, Tripindikarana Shradha, Pretagathi and other rituals will be performed after which Naga idols will be installed at newly constructed Katte at Moola Nagasthana.

Punarpratishta of Naga Deva will be performed on 17th June, ( followed by Tila Homa, Narayana Bali, Tripindikarana shradha etc., on 22nd June 2009, concluding the rituals)
Kulavis are urged to participate in all, or any one of the Karyakramas, especially pertaining to Punarpratishta of Nagadevata which was specially taken up at the instance of Hattiangadikar families who were experiencing incessant problems and approached our Guru Shree HH PP Sadyojat Shankarashram Swamiji, who directed them to consult experts suggested by PP Swamiji. Poojya Swamiji has been briefed of all the above developments and He have sent His approval and blessings.)

An Appeal The Punarpratishta of Nagadevata was specially taken up at the instance of some Hattiangadikar families having incessant problems had approached our Guru HH PP Shree Sadyojath Shankarashram Swamiji for guidance and blessings. Param Poojya Swamiji directed these Hattiangadikars to consult experts in the field. Now as per the advice of the expert astrologers and Param Poojya Swamiji’s advice the ritual of Punarpratishta of Nagadevata of Hattiangadikars of Vatsa Gotra is being under taken up at Moolasthana, Hattiangadi. All these rituals will be performed on a low key basis, without any excess pomp, even then the estimated cost would be around Rs 4 lakhs, and we sincerely request all the Kulavis to donate liberally. (In a meeting held on 9th morning, it was resolved to request all working members of the clan to voluntarily contribute maximum amount (may be Rs 10,000/-and above) and the retired members could donate an amount without inconveniencing themselves). Ultimately the above events being undertaken for the first time for the wellbeing of entire Hattangadikar clan should not have financial constraints.
